New York. The Big Apple. The City That Never Sleeps. Frank Sinatra once sang, “if I can make it there, I’m going to make it anywhere.”

We don’t think there’s a better place to unveil what we’ve been working on.

The New York Vet Show is happening this Thursday and Friday, November 7th and 8th, at the Javits Center in Manhattan. One of the biggest veterinary gatherings in the northeast, this year’s show will feature talks from 50 veterinarians, technologists, academics and businesspeople, two full days of continued education, and even the opportunity for attendees to win an adventure trip to Malawi with the Worldwide Veterinary Service.

If that’s not enough to stoke your interest, there will also be a massive exhibitors hall with over 290 companies showing off the latest products and technology for those in the veterinary field.

That’s where we come in.

Talkatoo will be making its first-ever appearance at booth 600, and we can’t wait to show off how our service will help you be more productive, get the most out of your work hours, and spend less time burning the midnight oil as a result.

Here are just a few things that you might be able to do with that extra time while you’re in New York:

Walk the mile from the Javits Center to John’s of Times Square. Pizza from a coal-fired brick oven AND the restaurant is a converted church? We’re throwing this down as our recommendation for the best pizza in Midtown Manhattan.

Explore the Frying Pan, a lightship that had previously sunken but had its exterior restored, at Pier 66 Maritime, half a mile from the Javits Center down 12th Avenue. There aren’t any animals swimming around inside the rusted interior – or at least now there aren’t – so you don’t have to bring your work home with you.

If you’d prefer your trip to New York to have a flash of the whimsical and dramatic, Fantasma Magic down West 35th Street is home to a museum dedicated to the greatest of escape artists, Harry Houdini. Roughly two hundred unique artifacts from Houdini’s life and work are on display from a rotating collection, so there is always something new to see.

New York might be The City That Never Sleeps, but that doesn’t mean that you need to follow suit. Talkatoo has been built from the ground up for veterinary professionals to accomplish more every day – and not have to bring anything home with them.

Stay up to date.
